Wayang spellhunter trait11/14/2023 I like it (Air Geyser is a 3rd level I like too, same idea)Ģ = Wood Shape - This spell is so friggin' useful.ģ = Stone Shape - Like Wood Shape but generally even more useful.Ĥ = Freedom of Movement - Long Duration, and ultimate defense, a little situational, but don't leave home without it.ĥ = Baleful Polymorph - This is just funny when it works.ħ = Transmute Metal to Wood (combine with Wood Shape or Warp Wood)ģrd level is VERY hard for me: Greater Longstrider, Call Lightning, Greater Magic Fang, Meld into Stone, and Resist Energy, Communal are all amazing to me. And as Rhorik said, tusked not better than a feat because there is a feat that does the same. You have not told us what traits you took, if you did not take the trait magical lineage or another magic trait, I would strongly recommend that you take 'additional traits' feat. The rest are good, true but no serious problem. They take fire damage, hit the celing and take falling damage, hit the floor and take falling damage. Magical lineage and wayang spellhunter are about summoner level of OPness and should just be banned. You can take both traits but thats usuallly overkill, and its good to have one trait to personalise your character with. Whichever of those you go for, put one trait on magical lineage or wayang spellhunter on the spell youre focusing on. Wayang Spellhunter and Magical Lineage don't provide a bonus, and thus don't fall under that ruling. Metamagic Master: Choose: A spell of 3rd level or below. The two simplest magus builds focus on the shocking grasp spell or the frostbite spell. They work completely differently from the two traits in question. Yell at me if you have to, I'm making two lists.I'm also avoiding the obvious ones that everyone else has already mentionedĠ = Create Water (Detect Magic already mentioned)Ģ = Tar Ball(UM) - No save or resistance -2 to DEXģ = Mad Monkeys(UM) - Damaged, nauseated, deafened and disarmed all at the same time? Yes please.Ĥ = Geyser (APG) - Use in a cave or indoors. The two traits you were referencing in that post give a spell a +1 trait bonus to caster level. If I Rime Spell the Frostbite, It's +1 from the metamagic, then -1 for the trait. this, except add 'counts as a trait bonus to that specific spell, and thus does not stack with any other trait. I have a Wayang Spellhunter with Frostbite. I know the rules say to list one, but I can't. Just add 'The benefits of this trait counts as a trait bonus, and thus does not stack with any other trait that has a similar effect'.
